Hi Friends! Happy Thursday! This Saturday is my first wedding of 2018 and I am so excited for it! Emily and Mike were also my last session of 2017- so they definitely have a special place in my heart, thats for sure!
This session started out at one location- It was pretty cold outside so we were hoping to get inside at a place in Plymouth so we were not freezing, however, that did not work out quite as planned, so the session turned out to be outside! It was amazing! Snow started falling just as our session started and while we were cold, these two were so great embracing the cold with the fur babies, Blitz and Badger!
Emily and Mike have been talking to me about how their pups will be in their wedding. It is so cute to see them interacting with their dogs and I can not wait to see them as Ring Pups! It was great we could be outside for this session so Blitz and Badger were close by at all times. In their wedding questionnaire I sent out, Emily was clear a she stated they want as many photos of their dogs as possible! 🙂
Emily and Mike, I can not wait to see you guys this weekend!!! Here are a few favorites from our session together, although it was really hard to just pick a few…!
Happy Tuesday! This wonderful family happened to be in New Jersey at the same time as us for Thanksgiving visiting with their family this year! Stacey and Dave have been friends of mine for a while now! All I can say is ( to keep a long story short) that it’s a small world, and these two are together and its amazing!
Stacey and Dave are expecting their second baby due February 2018! I loved that I was able to see her little bump before the baby came! See, these guys live in VA and it has been awhile since I had seen them. This was actually the first time I got to meet Ben and he JUST celebrated his 3rd birthday! While I wish I was able to have met him when he was born, I am happy I finally got to meet him! He was so great during their session and just so much fun to talk to! He’s going to be an awesome big brother!
Dave, Stacey and Benjamin, Thank you so much for meeting up with me during your Thanksgiving trip to New Jersey! I was so excited to see you guys, meet Ben and see that adorable bump! Stacey you are absolutely GLOWING and the dress you wore was so pretty! I loved that I got to capture your family memories as well as a few maternity photos for you! I can not wait to see you all again and meet the newest member of your little growing family! xo.
While in New Jersey for Thanksgiving, I had a few sessions planned over the course of 2 days. When we visit, we always stay with our cousins, Jen, Mark and Charleigh. I took photos of Charleigh in 2016 and this year we planned to do it again.
We went to a park in Medford, NJ and walked all around during sun set. Charleigh was very serious for a lot of the session so I had a sneak in a few things to get her laughing. She loves sports so I had her pretend to be playing different sports. We played some music so she would dance and I had her run a bit! I got some awesome smiles and laughter from her and I just love how these came out! Her outfit was perfect for holiday photos too. I can not believe how big she is. ( I know I say this a lot, but its so true!)
Jen, Mark and Charleigh- Thank you for hosting us during Thanksgiving! We love getting to see you all and the whole family. Thanksgiving is just the best time of the year and we are so happy we get to spend it with everyone in NJ. Cant’ wait to see you all again soon! xo
Hi Friends! This post is so special to me as two years ago, I captured Derek and Lindsey’s wedding at The Sea View on Cape Cod and here we are again, only this time I captured their beautiful little family! Their niece and nephew joined us for a few photos with just the kids which I am sure made a wonderful gift for their grandparents! Three of the four kiddos were in their wedding and man, it’s crazy to see how big they are just from two years ago! Why do our babies have to grow?!?! It is unreal to me the difference two years can make and just makes my job that much more important to freeze those moments and capture all those little details because well, they wont stay little forever!
Derek and Lindsey welcomed their newest baby girl, Shaelynn Kathy in September and man did I love getting a few baby snuggles from her! I can not believe how big my little Henry is after holding her! I miss that stage already! She was adorable and I couldn’t be happier for their little growing family!
Derek, Lindsey, Hailey and Shaelynn- thank you so much for contacting me to capture your family photos! I couldn’t wait to see you guys and meet little Shaelynn! Getting to see Keegan and Evelyn was a nice treat! Thanks so much for bringing them! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and your parents loved the photos of the kids! From the bottom of my heart, I truly mean it when I say I LOVED getting to see you guys again! This session was so special to me and I will never forget it! The location was beautiful and right in your home town which brings more meaning! I hope that I get to continue to watch your kids grow and capture any more important moments for you! xo.
For the past 2 years my cousins have been coming to visit us all the way from NJ a few weeks before Thanksgiving! It’s so nice to get to spend a week with them here, and then again when we visit NJ for the holiday! We had their 2016 family session at a cranberry bog in Carver, MA and this year we went for some foliage and ponds. Morton Park was really pretty to walk around, see the changing colors and capture this family all together before their oldest daughter, Noelle graduates and is off to college next year!
There are so many things going on for them this year and Chris and Shelley are amazing supporting their kiddos each and every step of the way- Noelle is getting ready to graduate and go off to college! I can’t believe this! She just got accepted to her first two top choice schools. She is also very interested in photography and just recently started her own photography business! Talking to her about photography is fun and I love that I get to motivate her each step of the way! Maialen is an amazing athlete! Looking at her in these photos, I bet you wouldn’t guess that she is a softball player! She is really into playing the game and joined a traveling team for this year- The Pitbulls! She pitched a 22mph fast ball in 2017 and she is only getting faster! I love getting to see photos and videos of her play since we don’t live around the corner anymore! Together as a family they LOVE to play board games! Who doesn’t love a good board game?! To name a few- Translations, Uno, Wig Out, Rat a tat tat, and card games are some of their favorites!
They picked a COLD week to come and visit but they braved the cold for me. I am so thankful for their visits and love getting to have lots of quality time with them! Chris, Shelley, Noelle, Maia, Molly-pup and Alexa, Thanks for always trusting me with your photos and loving me when I make you hold hands, and say something silly… and make a heart with your hands. haha. It was a fun week and we loved every moment! Getting to take Noelle’s senior photos was also so fun and I am so happy to have had that quality time with her and her best friend Alexa! Can’t wait for this years session!
