Bournedale Function Facility Wedding Venue | Jill + Jason

For every wedding I am always checking the weather. It called for an 80% chance of rain for Jillian and Jason’s wedding day up until the night before. It turned out, that it changed to clouds with no rain, and for that we are grateful! The ceremony was held outside  on the lawn over looking a lake officiated by a close friend of theirs. It was beautiful and I just loved hearing their vows that they wrote to one another. It was just so sweet looking over and seeing both the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom in tears of happy tears as Jill and Jason read their vows and said their I do’s.

We had their bridal party portraits on the beach and I have to say, I just had the best time! I tried a little something new and went into the water to get a group shot from a different perspective! The water was cold, but it felt pretty good to me! Their bridal party was full of laughs and I just loved getting to know everyone. As we started our bride and groom portraits, dark clouds came through and it started to rain. That didn’t stop us from getting our portrait time outside and oh man, I am in love with their portraits!

It’s hard to put into words how much I love my job. It’s couples like Jill and Jason that remind me how lucky I am!! I’m thankful for them and for their families and I can’t WAIT for you to see their beautiful wedding day at the wonderful Bournedale Function Facility!

Rexhame Beach Extended Family Session | Marshfield, MA

Rexhame Beach Extended Family Session | Marshfield, MA

Another family session post for you all to see! This session took place during sun set at Rexame Beach. It was such a gorgeous night and the sun gave off a beautiful glow! I just love extended family sessions! It’s so nice when a big family can get together for photos and I know it doesn’t happen very often for many! I was so impressed that these guys were able to work out a date for everyone to be there, and I was able to be there as well!

For these images, I edited in 2 different styles. My light and airy approach will at times “blow out” the sky. This night was so pretty and they sky gave off beautiful colors but I am sharing with you the original edits I completed as I just love the glow tones on the family.

Being at the beach is my happy place! I love it when I get to chase kids around and get those authentic smiles! This session as a lot of fun and the kiddos were wonderful!

To the Mullin Family, Thank you so much for trusting me to capture your family photos! It was wonderful meeting you all and I just love the coordinated outfits! Here are just a few of my favorites from our session together!

Upland Sportsman Club Pavilion Wedding | Jessica and Tommy

Upland Sportsman Club Pavilion Wedding | Jessica and Tommy

I walked into Jessica’s childhood home  where the girls were getting ready and I could hear the buzz of the bridesmaids. They were in their matching Bride Tribe Tanks with Leggings- their hair and makeup done to perfection. I hugged Jessica and was so excited to see her! Moments after I was introduced to all of her sweet bridesmaids and I just knew that it was going to be a good day!! I already felt so loved and welcomed. The dresses were all together, hung up on the front window, her details were nicely on a table close by so I could start to tell their story through images. The day was overcast, which many times is “perfect for photos!” The light worked in our favor this day and I shot almost all details outside of their home, on the walkway leading into the house.

Jessica and Tommy shared an EPIC first look! The reaction from Tommy was amazing and melted everyone’s hearts who was there to see it! They are so much fun to be around, I remember laughing the whole time during their engagement session, and this day was just as that! So much laughter to go around along with all that love! As Jess was walking up behind Tommy for their first look, he got out his phone as if he was receiving a phone call! It was really funny and totally something that he would do! Once he turned around he threw the phone and his face was priceless! Jessica has the best laugh and every photo of them is just complete happiness!

This was such a special day! Guests gathered in the backyard  of her family home and witnessed Jess and Tommy say “I Do”. Tears were shed, laughter filled the air, they shared a few epic kisses and then it was time for dancing! The day was so much fun and flew by!

Jessica and Tommy, Thank you so much for choosing me to be your photographer! I loved getting to know you both and it was so nice to get to see you again and celebrate on your wedding day! I watched as your wedding count down filled social media pages and I too was counting down! Lisa and I had so much fun! It was really hard to choose favorites from your wedding day! I hope you look back at these and remember how amazing your day was for years to come! Congratulations to you both! xoxo

The bouquets were really special and something I have never seen before- the flowers were all made of wood!

Jessica’s first look with dad had everyone ( including myself ) need a tissue!!! It was really special!

I had to share the sequence of photos from their first look! Just check out how their story unfolds in these….

She asked him to turn around so she could see all of him…. so they both did a little ballet turn. So cute!

Dedham Community Theater | Endicott Estate | Harvard Arboretum Engagement Session

Dedham Community Theater | Endicott Estate | Harvard Arboretum Engagement Session

YOU GUYS! I am so excited to share this engagement session with you! Brooke and Conor were so much fun to get to know, and I loved each and every location they chose for their engagement session! We started the night at the Dedham Community Theater, a place where they have been going for years with their families. Their names were posted up on the bulletin front and center with their wedding date! I braved traffic and ran in the street a few times to get them and the theater fully. That was fun! While in the middle of the street at one point, a cop came out of the theater and handcuffed them! He was the perfect photobomb to their session and he provided a great prop of handcuffs! There were lots of laughs and I think that moment is something we will all remember!

The night was absolutely perfect! The sun was super glowy and it wasn’t too humid! They had their puppy Murphy there with us so he could be in a few photos. Oh I love dogs so much! He was so cute and I just wanted to bring him home! ** Tip for having a dog at your session: Bring a friend ( or a twin sister, thanks Leah!) and treats! ** Murphy is an Australian Shepherd and has the bluest eyes! A little about Murphy. His mom and dad got him 1 week before the proposal where Brooke said yes! He helped Conor pop the question on the Cape while celebrating Brooke and her twin sister, Leah’s birthdays! She said yes and the party weekend started!

One location they chose was the Endicott Estate in Dedham. The grounds here were so pretty and I think some of my favorite photos are in front of the greenhouse we found! Brooke and Conor met through friends at a house that actually over looked the Endicott Estate and they went to a dance together there in High School. How awesome is that?!

The last stop was the Harvard Arboretum. This was the first time I had been there and I fell in LOVE! It’s such a beautiful park with so many different areas to see! I can not wait to go back to this spot and take more photos! If you have never been there, I highly recommend it! It’s beautiful!

Brooke and Conor, Thank you so much for hanging out with me! You guys were awesome and I am so excited to capture your wedding day next year!!!! xoxo

Chatham Bars Inn Wedding- 2nd Shooting | Chris and Caitlyn

Chatham Bars Inn Wedding- 2nd Shooting | Chris and Caitlyn

I met Chris and Cait for their engagement session in Boston in September. Their lead photographer, Kelly Ryan Photo and video, at the time was traveling, so we worked together and I was set to capture their engagement session and work with her as a second shooter for the wedding day. I just LOVE this couple! We had a blast at their engagement session, I couldn’t wait to see them again for their wedding day!

The wedding was my last wedding of 2017 at the place where my 2017 weddings began, at The Chatham Bars Inn! I love this venue! They had a beautiful November day, it was chilly but oh so beautiful- they braved that chill for their bridal portraits on the beach, and although it was cold, it was worth it because their images are amazing!

Chris and Caitlyn, it was so nice to see you guys again and celebrate with you, your family and your friends! Everything was so beautiful! Congratulations to you both! I hope I get to see you again soon! xo.
