It is easy to forget to say Thank you. It is easy to look past all these things we have and take them for granted. This time being home with my family, not rushing out the door for anything, Not having a all kinds of activities and parties and school and… you get the idea…. has really opened our eyes to ALL the things!! THERE IS SO MUCH TO BE THANKFUL FOR!
Everyday we see on the news of our health care workers on the line, working directly next to patients with COVID-19. They are risking their lives to help save others and go home to their family ( some are isolated from their family) potentially putting them at risk. It is scary for them, I am sure, but they love their jobs and they show up to work everyday.
I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to these wonderful health care workers in the Ali B Family. These Ali B Brides ( and Ali B Groom) are my HEROS!!!! If I could stand out side of their work holding banners and making lots and lots of noise for them I would! (Wearing a mask, of course!) And so, without further ado, here are your Ali B Bride/Groom Heroes!

I have had a little break from blogging over the last couple weeks which I have to say, feels like its been an entire year! Between family sessions and weddings, I have been non stop with LOTS and LOTS of late nights editing. I have so many blog drafts almost ready to be published and I do not want to keep those blogs in cue anymore! I am so excited to finally feature this amazing family! I have been taking their photos since I started my business in 2012! It went from just a couple, to maternity, to family, to extended family and I am forever grateful for them all! We had their session in Wakefield, MA again this year and this time the littlest lady, Lilly is here! It is so fun to get to see these families grow and I love getting to be apart of savoring these moments for them!
Here is the start of my 2019 family sessions!! Get ready for more awesomeness! 🙂
Where is summer? Seriously… where did it go?!? How are we a few days away from September? I know I am not the only one that thinks the summer flew by! I am working on lots and lots of family sessions currently ( shooting and editing) and I am trying catching up on my blogging! I have a ton of blogs lined up in drafts to be published asap and I am so excited to share my newest work with you all.
The last few weeks were so busy over here, and the last few months my bed time has not been earlier than 1am!! I am forever grateful for my families, couples and fans for believing in me and my business and I am thrilled that many families have been coming back to me for years to capture their stories. It makes me so happy and I love that I get to see everyone again and again, as well as I get to watch their babies grow! How awesome is that?!
This wonderful family contacted me 2 years ago when they were visiting Cape Cod for their summer family vacation. At that time, they had 2 little ones- (Indy and Lulu) and this year, I got to meet their littlest one, Posey! All of the kids were just so cute and so much fun to play around with on the beach! I just loved how they warmed up to me right away and I was able to capture so many silly moments of them, letting their personalities shine! Their session was held on the same beach as it was the first time I met them, right outside of their rental home. How amazing to have this view for a full week while on vacation! I know I could get used to that!!
Brandon, Audrey, Indy, Lulu and Posey, I LOVED getting to see you again and meeting Posey! They are all so adorable and it is no doubt how loved they all are! It was really cool to look back at our session from 2017, you can check that session out here, and see the differences from then to now! Thank you for inviting me back to Cape Cod for your family vacation and for trusting me to capture these memories for you. Can not wait to watch them grow!
You want to know what I love? I love it when couples do something unique for their engagement session! Not only do I love it when they select unique locations and ideas for their shoot, I also love it when these ideas and locations have sentimental value. Rachel and Joe were so much fun to talk to during out initial Facetime meeting ( Thank Goodness for Facetime!). Once we picked the date for their engagement session, she came to me with the idea that they would love to go back to the location that Joe proposed. Joe proposed on October 20th at the, Belkin Family Lookout Farm in Natick, MA. Rachel told me “It had been a cloudy autumn day and literally when the sun came out and the light was perfect, I heard his voice behind me saying “Rachel look at this weird apple”. I turn around and he’s on one knee with the most gorgeous ring. He didn’t even have the chance to say anything before I blurted out “Yes!” He timed it perfectly too because my 30th birthday party was that night, allowing us to surprise my closest friends and have loved ones in from out of town.”
The day of our session was probably not a warm as it would have been in August but it was overcast for most of the session. We didn’t get that pop of light on the day he proposed but that is okay! May has been so crazy like that this year…. it has been cloudy and rainy for almost the whole month, but, we were able to have their session and we had the whole orchard to ourselves! It was just beautiful! They walked me around to different areas of the orchard and then showed me where Joe proposed where I got to hear their proposal story again but this time, it was even more amazing because we were there! In that same location it all happened. The smiles they had on their faces this day were contagious and I was just so happy that I got to not only capture their love, but fully see it in their faces.
Aside from the Orchard we had time so we went to a garden area that was oh so beautiful and then we went back to their house where I got to meet their fur baby, Pepper! We had so much fun and I am so excited to finally get to share their images with you! There were way too many photos to choose from and just select a “few” favorites! I know I say this all the time, but really, its so true! Joe and Rachel, I can not wait to see you guys again for your wedding day! Thank you so much for bringing me around these places and for letting me meet Pepper! She was just the sweetest! This year is going to go by fast, enjoy looking at these photos in the place that has so much meaning to you both! xoxo.

Since moving to NH, I have to constantly remind myself to change my weather app location so I know whats happening on Cape Cod. It’s so crazy how just a few hours North of the cape, the weather is totally different. I woke up to pouring rain on Corey and Jessie’s wedding day. It was raining buckets all the way until I got to Plymouth, MA. While still overcast, the rain was coming to an end! By the time I arrived to capture the first parts of the day, the rain had completely stopped! Can we talk about perfect timing?! have no doubt that even if the weather had been different and we had been celebrating their day in the pouring rain, these two would have been joyful.
Corey and Jessie are such a fun couple! I have been looking forward to their wedding day since their engagement session last fall when I realized they were up for anything I asked them to do! There was so much laughter then, I knew their day was going to be filled with so much joy, I couldn’t wait!
They shared a first look together which was just the sweetest thing! I just loved capturing that moment when Jess tapped Corey on his shoulder, and his reaction when he turned around was just priceless. A few tears were shed and it was so sweet to witness them each wiping them away one another. Since it was raining all morning, it cooled the air and it was a bit chilly and very windy where we were for their first look and bridal party portraits. Everyone was so great braving the cold air and wind we were able to get so many amazing portraits for them to cherish forever of their closest friends, family and the two of them on their special day.
Lisa and I loved being surrounded by their family and friends. One of my favorite moments of the day was when Corey’s mom a hopped on the dance floor, got the party started and surprised everyone with her singing ” All Night Long” – Lionel Richie. Everyone was cheering her on and then the dance floor filled up and stayed full for hours and hours! It was a cheerful celebration of a wonderful couple!! Corey and Jessie, congratulations on this special new season of life! We were so honored to capture your wedding day! Enjoy looking back at the many many favorites I had from your day! xoxo.
