At this point in 2016, I feel like I have a pretty awesome relationship with Brewster Gardens in Plymouth, MA. Back to the beginning of this year, I shot my annual Mommy and Me Mini Sessions there, Jennifer and Dylan’s Engagement Session, Kelly and Mike’s Engagement Session, My personal post of Mommy and E photos, and now, Maddie and CJ’s Engagement Session. Brewster Garden is such a beautiful spot in downtown Plymouth, I am sure I will be there again soon for more photo ops!
So, why Brewster Gardens for this fall romance engagement shoot? Well, Maddie and CJ met in Plymouth at a bar and went on their first date down on the waterfront. They walked the Jetty behind East Bay, had a nice dinner at Cabby Shack, and shared their first kiss on a bench in Brewster Garden. The day he proposed, he recreated their first date where they did exactly everything the same as they did that day. When they arrived to Brewster Gardens, they sat on a bench and CJ began to talk to Maddie about the last year they have had, and how it has been amazing. He then brought her into the middle of a grassy field there, got down on one knee , and proposed. Little did Maddie know, a few of their closest friends and Maddie’s sister were hiding in a large bush near by and witnessed the whole thing. They all celebrated back at Cabby Shack where they ate dinner on their first date.
This couple is so special to me! Not only are they an Ali B Bride and Groom, but Maddie has been part of the family for over 2 years now. She began watching our son, Ethan, since he was 5 months old, every Friday while my husband and I had to work. Just recently, Ethan started a new school and now Maddie watches him when needed, but we love her, and our son loves her! She has an amazing personality and we are so happy that she found CJ! CJ has been over our house, and has formed a fun relationship with Ethan, he loves it when they come to visit! During their engagement session, Ethan and my husband were walking around the gardens and stopped in at the end of our session. Ethan is going to be their “Ring Security Guard” ( you can see how they asked him here) so it was only fitting to do a few photos of the 3 of them together!
Maddie and CJ, THANK YOU for choosing me to be your photographer! You guys are so special to me, and I can not wait for next year! I had so much fun capturing the two of you together this fall and I hope you LOVE your photos!
