Granite Links Golf Club Wedding Venue| Kevin and Gina

One of my favorite moments I get to experience at a wedding is watching the bride and groom really realize how much their life has just changed. When this happens, there are tears and hugs and a few minutes of just being in awe of what just happened. This moment can come at any time throughout the wedding day. For Kevin and Gina, their moments happened at different times during the day. Kevin had tears in his eyes as Gina walked down the aisle with her dad.  Gina’s moment was after they recessed down the aisle and embraced outside of the ceremony. Her tears of joy were sweet enough to make anyone watching get emotional. They were just SO happy. It was the sweetest thing to see and I couldn’t be any happier for them!

I know I mention the weather a lot but honestly, I can’t believe what we experienced this day, It was probably one of the most beautiful days of the entire summer. It felt like October and not the end of August!! It was amazing! Not only was the weather beautiful, this entire wedding day was stunning! It really was so perfect and the smiles on their faces throughout the entire day let everyone know that this was their best day ever! During their ceremony, the sun came in and out of the clouds but the way that the wedding party was standing on a hill allowed me to capture this absolutely gorgeous image from their ceremony. The sun position, clouds and just where I happened to be standing, with my 35mm lens on, the settings I used, and the final edit produced this amazing photo that I am thinking about printing on a canvas for myself to hang in my office!

The Pavilion at Granite Links Golf Club is absolutely beautiful. With views overlooking the Boston Skyline, and the most beautiful sun set, I loved getting to be there again this year! I loved the simplicity of their decor that tied their day together so nicely. Just wait until you see their reception decor with the view of Boston. It was just stunning and the sun set all together just made their ending to a perfect day, even more perfect…. if that can even happen!

Kevin and Gina had their dog Charley join them for a few moments on their wedding day, just after they shared in their first look. The love that these two have for their fur baby is just the cutest. They were so excited to see her and I loved that she was included in their wedding day for photos, again in Kevin’s vows and then a few more times during their toasts at the reception. It was so sweet! I loved that I got to see Charley again from their engagement session. The photos of the moments with her are so special.

It was so nice that they were able to include their siblings on this day as their officiant, brother of the bride, did an amazing job sharing about their relationship and their love for one another.  They are the sweetest duo. Lisa and I felt so honored that we were the ones who had the opportunity to capture their day for their family and friends to remember forever!! Enjoy some of my favorite images and as always…get ready for a lot of photos in this post….

The Pavillion at Pinehills | Amylee & Gregory

Hi Friends! I am coming at you from Wildwood New Jersery for his amazing wedding day sneak peek! Amylee and Greg had such a gorgeous wedding on Saturday at The Pavillion at Pinehills! It was so fun getting to work with Lisa, Katy and Beabout Exposure and it was so fun getting to see these two love birds again! The last time I saw Amylee and Greg was in November for their engagement session!

Amylee and Greg had so many sweet, personal touches on their wedding day. On Amylee’s flowers was a framed photo in memory of her biological dad. You can find a charm like this similar here. It was such a nice touch to having her father close by and in her heart on this day. She also had a charm made for Greg and presented his to him during their portrait session. Greg’s father had also passed away and she said ” He should be by your side today, because he would have been your best man. So I wanted you to have this.” It was such a sweet moment that made me a bit emotional behind the camera. I know what it’s like to get married and go through life together with the one you love, and not having a parent there to see it.

The weather on this day was crazy. We planned to have first looks in an area throughout the golf course with her dad and grandparents, however due to thunder and pouring rain, we had their first looks outside of the venue under their awnings out-front. I have to say that there is no bad place to have photos at The Pavillion at Pinehills.  The front porch are of the venue is so beautiful, it really made for a perfect backdrop for these moments.

Once the rain cleared up we took golf carts out to the gate for their first look. It was amazing how the clouds opened and the sun came out! It really was so magical! These moments they had together before anyone saw them were so special. They rocked their portraits and I am so excited that I get to share their sneak peek with you guys!

Amylee and Greg- Thank you so much for trusting us to capture these moments on your wedding day! You both embraced the rain and when the sun came out, you guys made some magic! See, rain on your wedding day is good luck! 🙂 Greg, wishing you a happy birthday!! I hope you guys have the best time on your honeymoon in Antigua! Here is a little preview to help you re-live the best day ever! xoxo.

The Sea Crest Beach Hotel Wedding Venue | Jared & Katherine

Once upon a time, on a BEAUTIFUL summer day…….WHAT?! Summer? Nope…. it’s not summer! It’s spring but let me tell you, Jared and Katie had the absolute most perfect weather for their May wedding on the beach! It was 100% PERFECTION! The sun was shining, it had a nice wind that kept you from melting in the sun and there were people swimming in the ocean! It really did feel like summer!

Her details for the day were laid out so nicely and easy for me to grab and go! I was so impressed with her organization skills! The bridesmaids and Katie also had the room she was getting ready in clean and decorated with a cute banner along the bed.  Again, I was so impressed and just so excited to get started on their day! The last time I saw these two was just over a year ago for their engagement session! I was so excited to see them again! They are so much fun, and are both really good at modeling for me when I give them direction!

I loved Katie and her dad’s first look. She looked amazing and he made sure that she knew it. Her girlfriends were just in awe of how gorgeous she was, and they made her entire day such a celebration!! I absolutely LOVE that we got to have their fist look on the beach, where Katie wanted it, and since it was an absolute beautiful location.
However, my favorite part of the day was when Katie’s dad toasted the newlyweds at the beginning of their reception. He shared that when Katie was a baby, she took her first steps on the beach at The Sea Crest Beach Hotel, which gave this location and even bigger meaning!  Oh the tears! So many tears!  You can tell that Katie is a daddy’s girl and that her relationship with her parents is such a cherished part of her life.

As you scroll through this beautiful wedding day, I hope you enjoy this gorgeous couple as much as we did! Their smiles and their joy are contagious!!! Thank you for having Nichole and I capture your wedding day! We had so much fun and we are still talking about those sun set photos! They were simply amazing! Zach Levenson did a great job on their video and also gave a little sneak peek of their day, which I have included here. Enjoy reliving your wedding day, Mr. & Mrs. Jared Weed. xoxo

For the last two years I have said to myself I want to be published! I felt like my images were good, but when comparing them to everyone else, I didn’t feel like they were “publish worthy”. You see, that was the problem! I compared myself to other photographers out there in the world. People I don’t even know and I got my hopes up and just never bit the bullet to send my work anywhere.

I blogged on here and that was it. I featured my weddings on my website and I still do but there is something exciting to get an email stating that I was published on THEIR blog…. someone else’s wedding inspiration blog! I knew that one day, yes one day…. it would happen…but when!?

In 2017 right after I had Henry, I went full time photography/stay(work) from home mom. I worked hard to get my style to where I felt like I wanted it to be and I kept getting more and more confident in myself, my worth and my work. I still was hesitant of rejection when thinking about submitting a wedding… I kept working hard to get the images I took exactly where I wanted them to be. In 2019 I looked back at all of my 2018 weddings and engagement sessions. I loved each and every photo taken…. So much, I just knew this was the time to start submitting. There was no way I would get rejection emails! So, I joined Two Bright Lights- a place where you can submit your photos to hundreds of publications and get your wedding and lifestyle photography published in print magazines, websites and blogs. I submitted EVERY wedding and engagement session I shot in 2018.

Not even 2 hours later after submitting Jillian and Joe’s wedding I had gotten an email saying it was accepted! Guys….I was dancing in my kitchen with excitement! I couldn’t believe it! MY FIRST PUBLISHED WEDDING!!!

Special thank you to all these amazing vendors who made Jillian and Joe’s wedding oh so beautiful! Thank you to WEDDING BOSTON for accepting this publication! I am so honored and so thankful!!

Bittersweet Farm Wedding Venue | Jaclyn & Jordan

Bittersweet Farm Wedding Venue | Jaclyn & Jordan

Sometimes, its really hard to describe how much we love love wedding days, and friends, we loved this wedding day! It was authentic, and genuine and filled with the best kinds of emotion! Jordan’s sweet reaction during their first look and then again as his bride walked down the isle toward him were both just the sweetest reactions that I am sure Jaclyn will never forget! Not only did Jordan share tears, Jaclyn did too, and her groom was there to help clear them away. They melted everyone’s hearts with their loving gestures and gorgeous smiles. Their ceremony was beautiful as they stood together surrounded by their closest friends and family. Jordan’s sister officiated their service under a beautiful awning that they made together. She performed their ceremony with grace and love, its was absolutely beautiful.

As Lisa and I were capturing the perfectly thought out details of this day, a ray of sun came shining through the trees. It was amazing to see this big beam of light come through for them onto the piece of decor that they created themselves. When Lisa showed me the image out of camera, it gave me chills as I said that it looks like Jordan’s dad is there, shining down on them, celebrating this perfect day with them in heaven. Just a few weeks leading up to their wedding day, Jordan’s dad passed away. He was honored in so many ways throughout their wedding day, this ray of light was comforting to know that he was not only remembered, he was there.

We ended their night with an epic sparkler exit! When they came to me and said they wanted to have a sparkler exit, I was so excited! It’s very rare that these exits get to happen but now that this one happened, I am going to be talking about it a lot with my brides and grooms! They invited their bridal party only to come outside with them. The sparklers were lit, the lighting set up was ready, Lisa was there by my side and Jordan and Jaclyn ran through the sparklers, smiling so big! Everyone was laughing and screaming and since they had the long size sparklers, they kept running back and fourth! It was so fun and I am so happy with all of their photos!! So, who is next for the sparkler exit, friends?!

Jordan and Jaclyn, Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for having Lisa and I at your wedding day. We had the best time capturing every little detail and it was so great getting to know you both. The love you share for one another is evident from the smiles on your faces, the tears you shared, the vows you wrote for one another and it came through from everyone there celebrating with you. We love you guys and hope you have the best time in Portugal!

I can’t wait to share this images to allow you to get to know this incredible Ali B Couple! I have dozens and dozens of favorites!!! Enjoy!
