Oh My Goodness, friends! Can I just tell you how excited I was to take photos of this adorable family!!! Some of you may already know them! They are the Beabout’s from BEABOUT EXPOSURE– husband and wife videography team! I have had the pleasure to work with mom and dad Beabout for several weddings this year! We like to call ourselves, The Dream Team! If you have us at your wedding, we will most likely announce that the dream team is here!
I loved getting to meet their little ones that I have heard so much about! They were so sweet! Little Piper is starting to stand on her own and take a few steps which was so fun to see her try to do! Big brother Logan was a little shy at first in front of the camera but then warmed up a bit and we got to see his fun silly personality! He was very helping being sure that Piper did not eat any rocks or dirt while we were trying to get her attention to look at me or laugh… She tried and Logan was on it!
Philip, Brittney, Logan and Piper- I loved getting to spend some time with you guys NOT at a wedding! While I love working with you, it was so fun to see the kids and not talk about camera settings and where we are going to stand! Thank you for trusting me taking these photos!!! It means a lot to me that you had me take them, so again, Thank you! Can’t wait to work together again soon! xoxo.
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE it when families contact me year after year for updated family photos! These guys I met 2 years ago and I was so excited to see them again! I can not believe how big their littles ones have gotten! We had so much fun on the beach playing! Sorry for making you run mom and dad! 😉
Their session was at Sandy Beach in Cohasset, MA and I have to say I loved this location so much! Not just because I got to be there with this amazing little family, but I always need some vitamin sea and this beach had it all. The tall sea grass, large rocks, jettys, a stone wall, perfect sand and the most beautiful colors as the sun was setting!
It was so fun to see Kennedy and Connor’s personalities shine through these images! They were so much fun and had me laughing as I was editing their photos! Their holiday cards are going to be beautiful, I am sure!!! Merideth, Bob, Kennedy and Connor, thanks so much for having me capture these moments for you! I am so honored you contacted me again to update your family photos!! I hope you love these and I can not wait to see you all again soon! xo.
Way back in June, I had the pleasure of photographing a local NH business, Humble Warrior Power Yoga Studio in Manchester, NH. Our session was the day before they opened their doors for the first time and the vibe inside of their studio was just so exciting yet so humbling! Each of the warrior teachers where there showing their talents and planning for the next day. The building is absolutely beautiful and the studio space is amazing with exposed brick, large windows and beautiful floors! I loved getting to see the space before their opening day and I am so excited to get to take classes with them. I have had a busy busy season over here, but once my sessions and editing lessen, I will be there to take some classes.
I asked owner, Genevieve Hoellrich a few questions about their studio which I have included in this blog below. You can check out their website here, and go visit their studio to take a class and see how beautiful it is! Here is their CLASS SCHEDULE.
At what point in your teaching career did you decide – I want to open a yoga studio?
Opening a yoga studio has always been a dream but it was not until I met Talitha it became possible. We had the same vision and dreams and the family and friends who supported us in the lead of faith to pursue our dreams.
What was your biggest fear or limiting belief during the process?
There was so many… No-one will come to class, will we be able to pay for it. Who is going to teach and so many more, BUT with the support of the most amazing partner the fears quickly turned away and we just kept moving forward and conquering our fears.
What were the steps you took in order to open a yoga studio?
We found the space, then from there we had a vision of what we wanted , the look, the heat. We found vendors who would help us and it went from there. Lots and lots of work and patience .
What resources did you find helpful during the process?
family, friends, each other and the support of our amazing instructors
How did you decide upon the name?
This was all Talitha!
What’s your number one piece of advice for future yoga studio owners?
Some days it may be hard but it is the biggest gift, to help others ands your dream come true
What’s the most difficult situation you run into on a consistent basis?
Not to many yet.. they may come lol
How did you decide upon your class offerings, type of teachers you’d employ, and the overall vibe of the studio?
we had a vision of what we wanted and we knew some amazing teachers and from there it blossomed. We want teachers to feel 100% authentic to themselves and teach from there heart. This is creating unique, powerful classes.
And lastly – Why did you start practicing yoga in the first place? And how and why did you become a yoga teacher?
I was in a deep dark place and I needed something. 14 years ago I went to my first hot yoga class and was hooked from there. So much has happened in my life but what has stayed true is my yoga practice. After a long time practicing my dad said it was his wish for me to share my passion. I took the leap and 7 years later here I am!!!
This beautiful fall wedding was featured on BIG DAY MADE! Their venue is one of my FAVORITES! You can view their full post HERE!
I knew that I loved Liz and Raffa from their engagement session. You could tell that they are in love and care so deeply for one another. But I have to tell you, their love for one another was NEVER so evident as it was on their wedding day. From their first look, it was hard for them to hold back the tears. They cried and smiled and looked at each other with so much love and happiness throughout our portraits, through the ceremony and even more so on the dance floor. It was the sweetest thing to see them both so overcome with emotion and happiness. I am so honored I was able to document that for them.
Their day was PERFECT! Earlier that day, it rained but when it was time for their first look, the rain subsided and we were able to have all their portraits and their ceremony outside!! I’m so thankful for clients who care about their portraits! We had so much time for their family portraits, wedding party and their bride and groom portraits. They were open to any of the locations that we suggested and for their second half of portraits, they were all for our suggestions and a little bit or sun came out over the mountain giving us enough light to capture beautiful portraits on the lake with the mountain backdrop and I’m SO glad that we did!!! Just wait until you see them!
Liz and Raffa, thank you so much for trusting me to capture your wedding day! It was so nice to get to meet your family and friends! You guys have such beautiful families it was an honor to be the ones capturing these memories of the day!!! I love you both and I can not wait for you to see these photos!

One of my favorite moments I get to experience at a wedding is watching the bride and groom really realize how much their life has just changed. When this happens, there are tears and hugs and a few minutes of just being in awe of what just happened. This moment can come at any time throughout the wedding day. For Kevin and Gina, their moments happened at different times during the day. Kevin had tears in his eyes as Gina walked down the aisle with her dad. Gina’s moment was after they recessed down the aisle and embraced outside of the ceremony. Her tears of joy were sweet enough to make anyone watching get emotional. They were just SO happy. It was the sweetest thing to see and I couldn’t be any happier for them!
I know I mention the weather a lot but honestly, I can’t believe what we experienced this day, It was probably one of the most beautiful days of the entire summer. It felt like October and not the end of August!! It was amazing! Not only was the weather beautiful, this entire wedding day was stunning! It really was so perfect and the smiles on their faces throughout the entire day let everyone know that this was their best day ever! During their ceremony, the sun came in and out of the clouds but the way that the wedding party was standing on a hill allowed me to capture this absolutely gorgeous image from their ceremony. The sun position, clouds and just where I happened to be standing, with my 35mm lens on, the settings I used, and the final edit produced this amazing photo that I am thinking about printing on a canvas for myself to hang in my office!
The Pavilion at Granite Links Golf Club is absolutely beautiful. With views overlooking the Boston Skyline, and the most beautiful sun set, I loved getting to be there again this year! I loved the simplicity of their decor that tied their day together so nicely. Just wait until you see their reception decor with the view of Boston. It was just stunning and the sun set all together just made their ending to a perfect day, even more perfect…. if that can even happen!
Kevin and Gina had their dog Charley join them for a few moments on their wedding day, just after they shared in their first look. The love that these two have for their fur baby is just the cutest. They were so excited to see her and I loved that she was included in their wedding day for photos, again in Kevin’s vows and then a few more times during their toasts at the reception. It was so sweet! I loved that I got to see Charley again from their engagement session. The photos of the moments with her are so special.
It was so nice that they were able to include their siblings on this day as their officiant, brother of the bride, did an amazing job sharing about their relationship and their love for one another. They are the sweetest duo. Lisa and I felt so honored that we were the ones who had the opportunity to capture their day for their family and friends to remember forever!! Enjoy some of my favorite images and as always…get ready for a lot of photos in this post….
