Captain Linnell House Wedding Venue | Abe and Joyce

I have been looking forward to this wedding for over a year! I still remember the first time talking to Joyce over the phone when she was planning her photography! She sounded so happy and so excited to marry her best friend. This still played true to the day we met in person, on their wedding day! Joyce’s smile and upbeat personality really set the tone for the day. The excitement poured out of her and you really couldn’t help but constantly smile with her all day!

Joyce and Abe had their first look on a private deck over looking the ocean. It was absolutely beautiful and intimate. They shared tears, laughter and words together while I was close, but not too close! They had their touching moment together and I know it is one they will never forget!

Their beach ceremony was a little chilly for their may wedding day, but man, was it perfect! I loved every little detail they had there that represented their love. From the readings, to the singing, the vows they wrote themselves and shared as they read them out loud together and the drone photography that Joyce’s brother was so awesome to set up, it was all so amazing. After the ceremony we had time to capture more family photos on the beach and a few more portraits of the bride and groom. We all had so much fun and it was really nice to get to take in the beautiful day they had all together!

Joyce and Abe, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for trusting me to capture one of the most important days of your life. It was an honor. I teared up several times throughout your wedding day and laughed with you all too. It was such an amazing day and I am so happy that I was able to document it all for you to have forever and ever. I hope that when you look back at these photos, you feel the love that you share, as well as the love that surrounded you with your guests and also, those that were there in your hearts. Your wedding vows were ones that I will never forget and I loved that you read them together. I will also never forget the raccoon that wanted to get photos with us….! I still can not believe he was just hanging out in the garden! That was too funny ( and a little scary!) I hope you love this preview and I can not wait to share the rest with you!
